Hysteresis Dynamometers (HD Series) are versatile and ideal for low to medium power tests. Hysteresis brakes do not rely on speed to generate torque, so full-scale testing from no load to Locked-Rotor can be performed. Brake cooling is provided by convection cooling (no air supply) or air cooling (compressed air AHD series or blower BHD series). Hysteresis dynamometers have intermittent and short-term emission of more heat. range. Depending on the size of the dynamometer and the system composition, the accuracy is ±0.25% to ±0.5% of full scale. A special design for high speed motor testing is also available. Used in various AC/DC motor performance tests (torque, speed, power, etc.), it is widely used in automotive motors, household appliances motors, power tool motors, compressor motors and aerospace motors.
